Thanks to the great sensitivity of his senses, Tesla once saved neighbors from certain death as a boy. In the deep night, he was awakened by cracking sounds. He immediately realized it was a fire. He jumped up and noticed through the window that smoke was rising from the roof of the neighboring house, accompanied by crackling and sparks. He quickly ran and woke up the neighbors who were peacefully sleeping, unaware that their house was on fire.
