What Nikola Tesla Wrote in the Power House Guest Book.

NIAGARA FALLS, July 15. — Nikola Tesla was a guest here Saturday and Sunday. He had not visited Niagara, where many of his inventions are in use, since he uttered his predictions regarding the magnificent industrial future of this region. Tesla was more than delighted with what he saw.

One of his statements that is of peculiar interest to Buffalo is that within a short time, as the result of patents of his, which are pending, the Niagara Falls Power company can transmit power to Buffalo from this point at a loss of but one-half of 1 per cent. That is very much less than the present loss, and if Mr. Tesla fulfills his predictions, it will mean much for Buffalo, as it would place it on a par with the fountain head of electrical energy.

Mr. Tesla said that the development of this region had but just begun and that he looked for a much greater increase in the present decade than was manifested in the last one.

In the guest book of the Niagara Falls Power company he wrote: “Nikola Tesla, whose residence is in New York, but whose heart is at Niagara.”

Mr. Tesla left here for Pittsburgh.
