Tesla a Better Romancist

Nikola Tesla has been carrying on experiments with his electrical apparatus out near Pike's Peak, and he now announces that the delicate electrical machine which he uses has been affected by feeble electrical disturbances, which he is positive were neither of solar origin nor produced by any causes on this globe. Mr. Tesla has become convinced that these impulses found their origin in Mars and that the inhabitants of Mars are endeavoring to signal to him. The subject is of interest and opens up a wide field for discussion and dispute. But the chief impression made upon the public mind by Mr. Tesla's announcement will be that however good an electrician he may be he is still a better romancist.
