How Tesla Would Outlaw War

A ray wall projected in curtains miles high around a country's borders to destroy invading hostile airplanes, has been announced by Nikola Tesla, above, famous inventor, as his 78th birthday gift to the world for "outlawing war." Rivaling the fictional fantasies of Jules Verne, H. G. Wells, and other "utopians," the electrical wizard's plan, which he proposes to offer to the Geneva peace conference, would disable any attacking sky foe by means of fast moving ray particles dispatched from land fortresses surrounding great cities or from small ray machines on warships.
