Westinghouse Injunction Not Granted

Judge Lacombe, in the United States Circuit Court, yesterday denied the application of the Westinghouse Electric Manufacturing Company for an injunction to prevent the Stanley Electric Company from manufacturing certain electrical appliances, claiming that the patents for the same, granted to Nikola Tesla in 1892, are controlled by the Westinghouse Company. The refusal was made on the ground that the Stanley company manufactured the appliances in Pittsfield, Mass., and that, therefore, the matter was not within his jurisdiction. The question of the alleged infringement of the patents was not considered.
