Sheriff Wells is advertising the land and plant of Nikola Tesla at Wardenclyffe for sale under Sheriff sale proceedings to satisfy a judgment of $1,108.20, but it is presumed the judgment will be satisfied before the day of sale. Tesla has been known as the wizard of Wardenclyffe, but aside from erecting a unique looking tower 150 feet high and installing wonderful and delicate machinery, in which a fortune has been sunk, no wonders (to ordinary people, at least) have been performed — Riverhead News.
