Mr. Brady Is Pleased. Mr. Henry A. Blair, head of the Chicago street railway system, with Miss Blair, and Mr. Percy R. Todd also are at the Waldorf. The arrival of the latter always is a source of great satisfaction to Mr. James Buchanan Brady, who keeps one of his valets waiting at the desk in the hotel from the time he first is informed that Mr. Todd is coming to New York until Mr. Todd appears, whereupon the Brady minion makes a new record getting to a telephone to acqualnt his master with the good news.

Baroness de Beckendorff, of Switzerland who arrived at the Waldorf-Astoria a few days ago with twenty-two trunks, yesterday was one of many persons who inquire daily about the ice rink to be opened on the Waldorf-Astoria roof this winter. The baroness has a new pair of silver and gold skates for figure skating and is anxious to use them every day.

There are at least ten inquiries at the desk of the Waldorf-Astoria every day for the date of the roof rink to open. No date has been set, but the management is completing arrangements as fast as possible.

In the east room of the Waldorf- Astoria women were busy all day yesterday trimming booths for the Christmas bazaar to open this morning for the benefit of the Free Industrial School for Crippled Children. Mrs. Arthur Elliott Fish is president of tne society.

Entertaining at dinner in the Waldorf- Astoria last evening during the Sunday night concert directed by Josef Knecht were Mrs. Henry N. Berry, of Boston, Mass.; Mrs. Arthur C. Morck, of Oil City, Pa.; Mr. Nikola Tesla and Mrs. Robert Pitcairn.
