An Unprecedented Number for Old and New Wonders.

The April Century, New York, goes into the wonderful things which Nikola Tesla is developing in the electrical way. It has not only descriptions, but illustrations that since fire destroyed Tesla's laboratory are the only records as yet of what he has achieved in some directions. The alternating current system for the continuous, the oscillator which is to combine the steam engine and the dynamo; the photographing by phosphoric light; the drawing of electricity from the great storage battery of the earth, etc. Some of the vivid illustrations of his experiments are made more sensational still by portraits of himself, Marion Crawford, Joseph Jefferson and Mark Twain, these latter assisting in the pokerish looking experiments.
