Electricity's New Marvels

Many Will Be Seen at the National Exhibition Next Month.

Many interesting features have been arranged for the opening of the National Electric Exhibition on May 4 at the Grand Central Palace. Governor Morton has been asked to officiate. Electric power will be sent by the Tesla system over a Western Unton wire from Niagara Falls, a distance of 462 miles. The power will be used for the operation of a model of the Niagara power system, as well as for sending a message of congratulation from the President to Queen Victoria on her birthday.

The lines of the Portal Telegraph and Cabie Company will be offered for the transmission of the Niagara power across the continent.
