Holds Tesla's Patents Good in Dayton Co. Suit

Validity of Devices Passed on by an Ohio Judge.

CINCINNATI, Nov. 23. — The validity of two patents granted to Nicola Tesla, the famous electrical inventor, was under consideration before Judge Thompson of the United States District Court to-day. Ho held that both patents were good, and are the proper of the Westinghouse Electrical and Manufacturing Company of Pittsburg.

One is for the electrical transmission of power, and the second is a method of operating motors,

The Westinghouse Company in 1901 brought suit against the Dayton (Ohio) Fan and Motor Company, asking that it be restrained from manufacturing these appliances, and that damages be granted the Westinghouse people for the injury sustained by the manufacture of these devices by the Dayton Company.
