Let us see. Six months ago Nikola Tesla announced that he had received an electrical signal from the planet Mars and that the problem of interplanetary communication would very speedily be solved. He also stated that he was about to send a wireless telegraphic message from Maryland to France. Neither of those projects, of course, has been accomplished. Meanwhile, however, Marconi avoids sensational journalism, says little but achieves wonders.
