The serial story "The Lightning Raider" will appear in the Fredonia CENSOR every week, and the pictures will be shown at the Fredonia Opera House immediately following. This arrangement assures every one of enjoyment, in that you will be able to see that which you have read.

The story has to do with "The Lightning Raider," a fascinating girl thief. The plot hinges about her efforts to defeat the gang of Chinese criminals headed by Wu Fang.

Mr. Nikola Tesla, the famous inventor, in a letter to Mr. Etienne Marsac, said that the serial is a definite intellectual training. Continuing in his own words "this may sound a bit absurd of course." purse." wrote Mr. Tesla, "but when you consider that the serial is based on an abnormal and unceasing war of wits between the powers of right and an arch criminal; that this battle demands constant and ingenious invention, with frequent and unexpected surprises, when you bear these factors in mind, you will see how the process works in the mind of the spectators.

"And in this mental combat, the beholder, if he has any mentality at all, is going to try to outguess the action of the story. He will be kept keyed up to the highest pitch endeavoring to see how this move of the master criminal is met by the heroine.

No mind can remain sluggish in witnessing the unfolding of these melodramas. After watching an episode, one feels as if one's mental machinery had experienced an overhauling and was, therefore, keyed up for any kind of a problem."

Senator Hill, Colonel Roosevelt and President Wilson, all have said, that there is nothing so relaxing to the mind as a good detective story.

The story of the "Lightning Raider" will be printed each week in the Fredonia CENSOR and the pictures shown at the Fredonia Opera House the following Monday.
