Does Not Propose to Establish Wireless Communication With United States.

LONDON, Jan. 9. — Signor Marconi, the inventor, to-day denied the story that he had purchased property on the coast of Cornwall with the expectation of establishing wireless communication with the United States within three months, and of sending messages at a half-penny a word.

Concerning the alleged communications received by Tesla from Mars, Signor Marconi said that, while communication with Mars might be possible, there was certainly no evidence as yet that the feat had been performed. The inventor expressed pleasure at the prospect of meeting the Russian wireless expert, M. Pohoff, in London shortly.
