Whether the late, great inventor Dr. Nikola Tesla was of Croatian or Serbian descent is unimportant in the end.

That he was a Slav who did more for mankind than is generally known is important, for then all of us of that strain can take pride in the marvelous achievements of one of us.

Mankind has had many benefactors. But few to equal Nikola Tesla.

BRO. ADAM SUDETIC, Detroit, Mich., Lodge 519, has been serializing the life story of Dr. Tesla on this page of the English Section the past several weeks.

We believe his readers have found his material most interesting and easy to digest, especially those who were born here or in Canada and know next to nothing of the deeds of others who first saw the light of day in Europe.

Bro. Sudetic has helped make the English Section of the Zajednicar all the more informative and educational through his series of articles dealing with the life of Dr. Nikola Tesla.

He has done an exceptionally fine job for a man born overseas and deserves our thanks for sacrificing his time in preparing these articles for publication.

We are proud to have him with us as a "staff reporter on assignment."
