Time Coming When Presidential Inauguration, Baseball Game or Battle Can Be Witnessed by All.

NEW YORK, Jan. 25.(P) — Application of radio principles will enable people, by carrying a small instrument in their pockets, to see distant events, like the sorceress of the magic crystal of fairy tales and legends, Nikola Tesla, electrical inventor, predicted today. Mr. Tesla, who on several occasions has tried to communicate with the planet Mars, made his predictions in an interview published in the current issue of Collier's Weekly.

"We shall be able to witness the inauguration of a president, the playing of a world's series baseball game, the havoc of an earthquake, or a battle just as though we were present," Mr. Tesla said.

"Perhaps the most valuable application of wireless energy will be the propulsion of flying machines subject to radio control. International boundaries will be largely obliterated and a great step will be made toward unification and harmonious existence of the nations."

Mr. Tesla also predicted that the world's internal heat would be tapped as a reservoir for international power.

Turning to the subject of women in modern life, he prophesied they would assume dominance in the social order, relegating man to the position of the drone.

"The awakening of the intellect of women which we are witnessing," he says, "will dull feminine functions and human civilization will draw closer to that of the bee."
