The wireless telegraph station at Siasconset, Nantucket, has been completed, and a similar plant will be immediately installed on the South Shoal Lightship. When this work is completed it will be possible to give the world information of the movement of ships well out at sea. But in this connection an even more Important step has just been taken. Land has been purchased at Wardenclyffe, Long Island, where the first station of Nikola Tesla's wireless telegraph system will be established. According to Mr. Tesla's claim. It will be possible to communicate with all parts of the world from this point, and thus ships at sea will be in constant communication with the shore. The public, however, is rather skeptical over the Tesla invention, and until it is in actual and successful operation the claims made for it will not be accepted.
