Rites for Dr. Tesla Held in Cathedral

Funeral services for Dr. Nikola Tesla, 86-year-old inventor who died Tuesday, were held today at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine with the Very Rev. Dushan Shoukletovitch, rector of the Serb Orthodox Church of St. Sava, officiating as the representative of Bishop Dionysius, titular head of the Serb Orthodox Church in America.

The eulogy was delivered by Dr. Ivan Subasich, Governor of Croatia, and Bishop William T. Manning offered the opening sentences of the burial office and the final prayer and blessing.

Dr. Tesla's nephew, Sava Kosanovich, Minister of State and a member of the delegation of the Royal Yugoslav Government which arrived in this country about a year ago, attended. He and another nephew living in Ohio are Dr. Tesla's only relatives in this country.
