Nikola Tesla famed for his electrical research and invention, is being honored by the country of his birth, now Yugoslavia. At present the inventor of the Tesla induction coil lives in New York city.
Tesla, whose life started in 1857, is pictured on two stamps, one a 75-para green snd brown, the other a 1 75-dınar blue and black.
Despite his advanced age, Tesla still is more or less active in electrical research, a principal part of which is in the radio field. Not so long ago he predicted the ultimate development of a system whereas power would be economically transmitted without wires.
