The only difference you need make will be to wind the secondary with about ten layers of No. 36 instead of No. 32, using thin red vulcanised fibre (3/8 in. thick) between each layer of wire. Of course, you must use a resistance in circuit with the primary, so as to limit the current to about six amperes; otherwise you may heat the wire injuriously.
