Nikola Tesla's latest proposition is to telegraph without wires. If the wires are done away with what will the politicians have to "pull?"

Nikola Tesla announces that he will be able to telegraph without any connections save those which the earth itself affords. If this prediction comes true the overhead wire problem will be greatly simplified

The announcement that Tesla has made telegraphing without wires "an accomplished fact" is very likely a little premature, but it may well become a fact before the telegraph companies have made up their minds to put their wires under ground.
