TOWER Tesla told the courts that this part was the most important part of the whole power plant. It was a massive structure that contained a deep shaft of 120 ft and then iron rods pushed 300 ft deeper into the earth allowing a strong connection to the earth. Then on the surface there was the tower about 189 feet tall, that was to have the capacitive terminal which stored the energy. The tower was in the shape of a pyramidal octagon for strength and support. Tesla tells the court at the time that this tower would send communication to all points on earth and also industrial energy in any amounts. The communication would be used by having other towers set up in other countries to router the messages to anyone in the world. Estimated voltages would reach between 10 and 100 million volts and from Tesla's autobiographical work, he tells how capacitive terminals could carry 1000s of amps that could be sent into the earth. Tesla tells the court how important such a top terminal is to multiplying, storing, and sending energy through the earth.
