When you study everything that has been written so far about Tesla as a man, you are still faced with a puzzle that an ordinary person cannot really understand. The reason lies in Tesla's very character, which is particularly complicated. Although he lived to a great age and often gave statements about his life and work, there is still much that is unknown and incomplete.
Since electrical engineering is not my profession, I do not intend to engage in its professional work and creation. Those individuals who are interested in this problem can learn a lot from the numerous compilations, articles and writings published by the Society for the Advancement of Science and Technology >>Nikola Tesla<< in Belgrade. This society has set itself the task of placing the appearance of Nikola Tesla in the history of science and technology in the right place, in which it has already had great success, not only in our country, but also abroad. Here, based on everything we know, with the help of the literature, which is listed at the end of this article, and with some previously unknown details, we will present certain moments from his life, from which we will be able to gain at least some insight into his character. Details from his life sometimes seem exaggerated and fantastic, so as many of the data come from him himself, it is not excluded that they are also the product of his wild fantasy. It is in our interest to portray Tesla realistically and truthfully, in order to prevent any justified objection that we are being seduced by excessive chauvinism. The truth can never harm Nikola Tesla's reputation.
