Nikola Tesla Books
He was a true expert in catching crows - a clever crow hunter. He captured them in an unusual way. Typically, he would hide in the woods behind a bush or a thick tree. He would then attract crows by skillfully imitating their calls. One or more crows would fly over, and, while remaining hidden, Tesla would subtly throw a paper ball at the nearest crow. This would distract the crowâs attention, and simultaneously, Tesla would swiftly pounce on it, like a cat on a mouse, and catch it.
In this way, Tesla could catch as many crows as he wanted.
However, once Tesla experienced a terrible accident that nearly cost him his life. He and his friend had caught two crows and carried them away. As they were leaving the forest, they heard the terrifying cawing of a massive flock of crows. The crows had seen that their enemies had captured two of their companions. In response, with a hellish clamor, they flew straight at Tesla and his friend, surrounded them, and began pecking and striking them with their wings and claws. Tesla and his friend were terrified and tried to escape from the enraged crows. In the chaos, Tesla was hit on the head and released the captured crows. This turned out to be fortunate for them, as otherwise, the crows would have fiercely avenged them. Instead, as soon as they saw their companions freed, the crows left Tesla and his friend and happily flew back to the woods.
After that incident, Tesla never thought of catching crows again.
But soon after, he became an avid hunter of field mice. Due to heavy rain, the fields near GospiÄ were flooded, causing the field mice to flee into the town. A whole army of mice invaded the town, causing significant damage to the community - even eating wreaths of hot peppers.
