Awhile ago I received a note from Marc Seifer saying that he took an informal poll at the 1990 Tesla Symposium at Colorado Springs asking the following whether they believed Tesla was right in his wireless power transmission concept and claims:

James Corum Eric Dollard Robert Golka Alexandar Marincic William Terbo

He obtained three "yeses" and three "noes," including his own vote. I left the Symposium early and did not have an opportunity participate in the poll, so Marc asked me to break the tie.

For me, the question is not simply answered. Therefore, I prepared the attached position paper on the question which I sent to all those participating in the poll. Perhaps the conclusions I have reached and the recommendations that I have made may spur additional research efforts in an attempt to one day decisively answering the question.

This is indeed an incredible circumstance. Experiments conducted by Tesla over 90 years ago are yet causing the technical community not only a little consternation as to how he accomplished the amazing effects he achieved but also challenging our collective abilities in confirming or conclusively denying his claims.

I shall be most pleased to hear from recipients of this paper at any time in the future concerning the arguments presented in the hope that the questions posed may finally be answered.

Sincerely,

Leland Anderson
