Hauses EC 22 77-32591-20 NOTE: Bufile 100-2237 indicates that Dr. Tesla was 'a' world famous electrical inventor, and at the time of his death his personal papers and effects were impounded by Office of Alien Property for national security reasons. Since Tesla's death in 1943 the Bureau has received numerous inquiries about the disposition of his technical papers. The above reply is forwarded in answer to these inquiries.
