Nikola Tesla Letters
Letters to and from, or regarding Nikola Tesla
December 8th, 1899 letter from George Scherff to Nikola Tesla
New York, Dec. 8th, 1899
46 & 48 E. Houston Street
Nikola Tesla, Esq.,
Colorado Springs, Colo.
Dear Mr. Tesla:
The work of the shop to-day is on the commutator, pulley cover, switch, spark rod support and on the contact connections of the new oscillator. The mica condenser is being boiled out.
The gentleman, whose recent letter in regard to a souvenir for Mr. Samuel Insull I forwarded, telephoned again this morning and asked me to say that a line from you as contribution would be very highly appreciated.
The mail at the Waldorf this week consisted of only circulars and journals.
Respectfully,
Geo. Scherff
