July 21st, 1899 letter from George Scherff to Nikola Tesla

Dear Mr. Tesla:
I reached the express office just in time last night to recall the oscillator from Chicago. A telegram to stop it was immediately sent by the Express Company.
The other oscillator, together with two secondary spools, is packed up ready to be shipped this evening.
Mr. Uhlman begs to be excused, he says he is too busy to report on the work this evening, and will do so to-morrow.
The mail obtained at the Waldorf to-day consisted of the inclosed bill, clippings, journals and a letter from Dr. Carroll, inquiring about an electrical oscillator.
Respectfully,
Geo. Scherff
