Nikola Tesla Letters
June 10th, 1899 letter from Nikola Tesla to George Scherff #3
Colorado Springs, June 10, 1899
Dear Mr. Scherff,
Under inclosure forward check for bills received. The Waldorf bill must be a joke of the clerk, as I have engaged the apartment by a yearly rate, but you need not tell them anything about it.
When you forward a check to Newell please tell them that I did not receive the last two boxes of ties charged on bill. Possible they have forwarded them to the Waldorf.
Last night I addressed a slip with a sketch in pencil. I hope Mr. Uhlman will be able to read it. I was in a hurry and want only two (not four) of those instruments made as soon as possible (forward here).
You do not say a word about the work. Please make some report in every letter after consulting with Mr. Uhlman and write as often as possible.
Sincerely,
N. Tesla
P. S. You must have been in a great hurry when you forwarded paper and envelopes. The latter came, a whole box full, but not a single sheet. Please order some more and send at once.
