June 30th, 1899 letter from George Scherff to Nikola Tesla

Dear Mr. Tesla:

The two clockworks have been shipped to-day. Mr. Uhlman says it has been necessary to put stronger mainsprings in them, and also that the work on the second independent break now occupies the shop.

There was no mail found at the Waldorf to-day besides some journals, and appeal for aid from a charitable society and the bill, which I inclose.
