September 18th, 1899 letter from George Scherff to Nikola Tesla

Dear Mr. Tesla:

The work of the shop continues on the condensers and bushing and armature of the fourth independent break. There has been a delay in obtaining the castings for the fourth break, Messrs. Maher & Flockhardt saying, upon inquiry to-day by telephone, that those they moulded last week were defective, but that others would be made to-day and forwarded as soon as possible. However, Mr. Uhlman says, the shop is fully occupied. 

He expects to have the condensers finished by to-morrow evening or Wednesday.
