Nikola Tesla Letters
Letters to and from, or regarding Nikola Tesla
September 9th, 1899 letter from George Scherff to Nikola Tesla
New York, Sep. 9th, 1899
46 & 48 E. Houston Street
Nikola Tesla, Esq.,
Colorado Springs, Colo.
Dear Mr. Tesla:
The work of the shop continues on the pulley, ball bearings, armature and pump of the third independent break, and on a pulley-cover with teeth and window.
Mr. Uhlman asks, if you will please lay out some further work for the shop.
I enclose a statement of the laboratory expenses for the past week. As I had not sufficient funds for the pay roll to-day, I obtained $150 at the Chatham Bank, which will be charged against your check when it is presented, as before.
Respectfully,
Geo. Scherff
