614 8,16 sired station, which consists in the transmission of electrical waves or impulses of different periodicities in varying order of transmittal by a separate order or grouping of transmittal for each receiving station. The above amendment is made for the purpose of presenting the specification and claims in a single paper, and also for stating the claims which were in issue in the interference in a form more in accord with applicant's wishes, and lastly, for the introduction of claim 5. This claim is specific in terms, but is important in its effect, which is to cover specifically the plan described in the specification of varying the character or period of the transmitted impulses instead of interrupting or closing the primary source of current, for the purpose of controlling the action or development of current in the receiving circuits. This is in reality the only claim in the case for any means for transmitting impulses which shall have a predetermined effect upon the receiving circuits, although, of course, a make and break, of the transmitting circuit, or some equivalent plan, is understood to be an element of the other claims. With the above amendment the application is submitted for reconsideration, and allowance is requested. Respectfully, Kerr, Page + Cooper -13
