Jeffrey Glyn Messer

Messer, aka "Zap-Man", was the owner of the teslacoil.net website from 2003 through 2009 and was the first builder to mass-produce solid-state Tesla coils through his company, J. M. Labs. Hundreds of his SSTC 3.x series coils were sold world-wide for an average price of $750.

Jeff was an accomplished engineer who held numerous patents, including a wearable Tesla coil, which amounted to the first-ever Tesla coil gun.

Sadly, Jeff passed away in 2010 at only 28 years of age.
