Richard B. Gregg
Richard B. Gregg grew up in Colorado Springs in the late 1800s and was fortunate enough to work as an assistant for Nikola Tesla in his experimental station. He is the young man you can see operating the regulating coil of the magnifying transmitter in the 1899 photo.
Mr. Gregg is mentioned in numerous Tesla biographies as the young man who was thrilled to receive eight dollars pay rather than the four dollars he requested.
