Among the Scores Who Sent Telegrams of Congratulation.

Charles R. Huntley, president of the Buffalo General Electric company and director in both the Buffalo & Niagara Falls Electric Light & Power company and the Cataract Power & Conduit companies yesterday rounded out a quarter of a century of affiliation with the Light and power interests of Buffalo and his associates remembered the day with a small dinner at the Buffalo Club, where Mr. Huntley received a loving cup.

The dinner was given by their directors and officials of the three companies named: Edward A. Wilkes, Francis Lynde Stetson, Edward D. Adams, Victor Morawetz, W. Paxton Little, all of New York. George Urban, Jr., Andrew Langdon, Walter P. Cooke, William H. Huntley, Robert W. Pomeroy, William H. Warren of Buffalo and Joseph F. Montague, Morris Cohn, Jr., and DeLancey Rankine of Niagara Falls. Twenty other members were present, all of them being associated with the corporations named.

Walter P. Cooke presided at the dinner. Mr. Huntley was much affected at the gift of his friends and returned thanks briefly. This telegram was received at the dinner from Nikola Tesla.

"While expressing surprise that a quarter of a century has elapsed since you placed your shoulder at the foot of the cataract and aided in forcing the chained power from its flood, I express not only my heartfelt congratulations to you, but even more earnestly congratulate Buffalo upon her good fortune in securing you. Ever sincerely, Tesla."

There was a flood of messages from men of fame in the electrical field. There was one from Charles Coffin of the General Electric company and one from Thomas A. Edison.
