Engineers Observe Tesla Anniversary

Chicago (AP) — Posthumous tribute has been paid by the American Institute of Electrical Engineers to Nikola Tesla, a pioneer in their field.
The 100th anniversary of his birth in Serbia was marked at the opening yesterday of a five-day institute convention.
Tesla came to this country in 1884 and died in New York City in 1943. His work included development of the first hydro-electric generating station at Niagara Falls.
