Record of $583 Debt to Frank E. Cahill Is Filed in the County Clerk's Office. Judgment for $583 was filed in the County Clerk's office yesterday against Nikola Tesla, an electrical inventor, by Walter L. Bunnell, attorney for Frank E. Cahill, for services performed by Mr. Cahill for Mr. Tesla between August 8, 1903, and June 13, 1904, at Colorado Springs. Mr. Tesia confessed judgment for the amount on November 4, 1905, but the legal document was not filed until yesterday. Mr. Cahill brought suit in the Third District Municipal Court in October, 1905, for his claim, but the case was discontinued and the confessing judgment was given then. The city of New York obtained a judgment against Mr. Tesla on December 14, 1906, for $475 for personal taxes, but the execution was returned unsatisfied.
