Mr. Tesla is Confident

Says His Wireless Telegraphy Invention Will Be Practically Tested Within Six Months.

PITTSBURG, Pa., Thursday. — Nikola Tesla is in Pittsburg placing a contract with the Westinghouse Electric Company for the manufacture of certain mechanical devices to be used in his experiments in wireless telegraphy across the Atlantic Ocean. Mr. Tesla says the success of his enterprise is more assured now than ever and that within the next six months his invention will be given a practical test. He hopes to establish the proof that it is not beyond the range of possibility to establish communication across the ocean without the aid of wires.
