HE FAILED TO OBEY A SUMMONS FOR JURY DUTY
For failing to appear in answer to a summons for jury duty Nikola Tesla, the inventor, was fined $100 by Judge Foster, in Part II, General Sessions, yesterday. Unless he can give a good reason for his failure to appear in court he will have to pay the fine, the alternative being imprisonment in Ludlow Street Jail.
