The Lond. "Elec.," Oct. 4, notices a paper by Mr. Overbeck in the "Wied. Ann." No. 8, which shows that the Tesla discharge invariably consists of two oscillatory discharges of different frequencies, which latter are not the same as those of the primary and secondary circuits by themselves; in one case where the latter were both 10,000,000 per second those of the two discharge currents were 8,000,000 and 15,000,000 respectively.
