Court Reserves Decision on Motion Aimed at Answer.
Judge Augustus N. Hand of the United States District Court reserved decision yesterday on motion to strike out certain portions of the answer of the defendants in the suit brought by Nikola Tesla to prove that he, not William Marconi, was the inventor of wireless telegraphy.
The special paragraph in the Marconi answer to which Tesla took exception was in a letter in which it was asserted that Judge Van Vechten Veeder of the Federal District Court in Brooklyn had ruled in the patent litigation brought by the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company of America against the National Electric Signalling Company that the Marconi patents were not an infringement of the Tesla devices.
