Nikola Tesla Articles
The Teslian - Vol. I, No. 5 Page 2
Teslian (Tesla-International) - September 1st, 1954
This issue of "The Teslian" consists of a calendar of original papers and manuscripts of Nikola Tesla, and a membership roster of the Tesla Society (including its friends also receiving "The Teslian").
The term "calendar" denotes the recording of physical description of an original item (usually written by the subject), including date, addressee, a brief description of contents, and location — whether in an institution or private collection.
This is the first known effort to calendar the papers of Dr. Tesla. Scarcity of material and historical significance warrants such an undertaking. The objective is to provide the researcher with a chronological directory of unpublished papers. A calendar also aids in maintaining a close check on original papers in the event of loss or false representation. This calendar will be amended as new items are discovered.
Each calendared item will have the following form: Addressee or principal (bold face type), Physical description, date. Description of contents. Location (in parenthesis).
