WASHINGTON, Feb. 16. — The Patent Office has made public the wireless telegraphy claims filed by Tesla several months ago. Using his previously patented "electric oscillator," to produce the power, he transmits it to the sending station, which is to be a captive balloon, rising five or six miles high. When radiated through the air at a pressure of several millions of volts, Tesla claims the fluid has property and characteristics that may be transmitted miles through the rarified atmosphere. His receiving stations are also to be captive balloons connected by wire to the earth. Tesla states that power may also be transmitted in the same manner.
