Nikola Tesla Books
I have received many distinctions, and it seems there will be others as well. Just imagine how matters stand when, only a few days ago, I received a photograph from Edison bearing the inscription: "To Tesla from Edison."
I am now working day and night on my machines, which I hope will soon be put into use. If I live, there is no doubt that I shall acquire wealth. But that is not what matters to me. With my warmest greetings, Your nephew, Nikola
in hasteI congratulate you on your fine success; I know how difficult it was with the people and the authorities.

In general, I have favorable news to report. My system has been adopted at Niagara, and you have no doubt learned this from Uncle Petar, for I informed him by telegram. My new invention, called the "oscillator," is progressing splendidly, and everything looks most promising. As for the machinery, that is, bodily health, it is not exactly Milos's, but it could be worse.
I hope that the influenza has not harmed you. Americans do not concern themselves with such trifles as influenza. They take
If you would like, I can continue with the remaining portion in the same historically faithful and stylistically consistent manner.
