which he very gladly received. Radosavljevic recently retired, sick, and withdrew to his estate outside New York. He certainly possesses valuable material about Nikola Tesla's life.

On the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of Tesla's life, the Association of Engineers organized a ceremonial celebration. On June 28, 1926, he sent a telegram via radio, in which he stated, among other things:

I feel proud to come from a chivalrous nation, which in its constant and fierce struggle for European enlightenment and its ideals has earned the respect of the entire world, especially America...

Even in his eighties, Tesla still worked diligently. On this occasion, a grand celebration was organized here, attended by scientists from all over the world. The celebration committee then received this reply to the telegram greetings sent to Tesla:

On this occasion, I express my warmest gratitude for the great honor from distinguished experts, though I accept this honor as undeserved, regretting that I have not created something greater. I wish to prove myself more worthy with new works and hope to be able to publish them soon.

In his message to Yugoslavs in America in 1942, he spoke these historic words:

This year, the fate of the entire world is to be decided. This year, 1942, the forces of evil, gathered around Hitler, must be destroyed. Almost every day we receive proof of this in the strength of the blows from Soviet Russia and our wonderful warriors in Yugoslavia and the Balkans... As the oldest Serb, Yugoslav, American of our blood in the United States, I am sending you this letter, asking you to respond to President Roosevelt's call... The destiny of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes in their old homeland is inseparable, no matter what the enemy tries to do...
