3. The anniversary of Tesla is also to be marked by special programmes of international organizations, - UNESCO, the International Union for Telecommunications (U.I.T.), the International Association of Producers, Transmitters and Distributors of Electricity, etc.
4. Yugoslav patriotic emigrant organizations abroad are preparing to celebrate the memory of the greatest Yugoslav emigrant who said: âI am as proud of my Serbian name as I am of my Croatian fatherland. I am a Yugoslav.â The Co-ordinating Committee of the Yugoslav emigrant organizations is preparing a special programme of celebrations.
5. The following publications are being prepared to inform the international public about Nikola Tesla: -
- programme of the celebrations of the 120th anniversary of Nikola Teslaâs birth (in English, French, Spanish and Russian);
- Nikola Teslaâs diary from Colorado Springs (in English);
- The Creative Work of Nikola Tesla (contributions by Yugoslav and American authors; in English);
- Teslaâs autobiography (âMy Inventionsâ - in English);
- prominent men on Nikola Tesla (in the original languages);
- sets of photographs of the life and work of Nikola Tesla;
- slides (72) with explanatory text (in English, French and Spanish);
- exhibition on the life and work of Nikola Tesla organized by the âNikola Teslaâ Museum, Belgrade;
- documentary film on the life and work of Nikola Tesla (director Vladimir Pogacic, text by Veljko Korac).
Plaque of the IEEE Power Engineering Society and medal of the âNikola Teslaâ Yugoslav Society awarded for the first time in 1976.
