Four of those volumes are devoted to topics dealing with Serbian Studies: Bodganović, Dimitrije: Istorija stare srpske kniževnosti; Medaković, Dejan: Srpska umetnost u XVIII veku; Samardžić, Dragana, ed.: Kazivaja o srpskom ustanku 1804 (contains memoirs of Janićije Durić, Gaja Pantelić, Petar Jokić and Anta Protić, contemporaries and participants in the First Serbian Uprising of 1804); Vučo, Aleksandar: Pesme i poeme, edited and introduced by Milosav Mirković (a selection of Vučo's verses from the earliest to the latest phase). One of the remaining two volumes of the series contains a brand new translation of the first part of Goethe's Faust by Branimir Živojinović and the other is an anthology of contemporary Hispanis-American short stories. Jugoslavenski leksikografski zavod (Zagreb) which was founded in 1950, celebrated recently (Dec. 17, 1980) its 30th anniversary. On that occasion, the first volume of the second, revised and substantially enlarged edition of the Enciklopedija Jugoslavije was released for sale. The second edition of the Encyclopedia will be published in six languages: Serbo-Croatian, Macedonian, Slovenian, Albanian, and Hungarian. There will also be a resumé-issue in English (2 vols.). Furthermore, the Serbo-Croatian edition will appear in two versions, one in Latin and the other in Cyrillic alphabet, bringing the total number of volumes to be published to 68 (ca. 55,000 pages). Each volume (21 x 24 cm.) is expected to have about 160 pages and 120 color illustrations. Pre-publication price is Din. 5,120; after the first volumes appear (sometime in 1981), the price of the series will go up to Din. 6,400.
