Dear Mr. Webster:

        I am writing this letter in regard to some papers you have in your possession by Nikola Tesla.

        I have for some time now been studying the works of Mr. Tesla and I am involved in the research and further development of his efforts. I have in my possession a copy of almost everything that was ever written by him.

        However I have read that on the day following his death (he died the night of January 7th, 1943, so probably January 8TH, 1943) the Federal Bureau of Investigation went to where Mr. Tesla had been staying - the Hotel New Yorker, New York City, New York and collected all noter and papers that he had with him there.

        To further my studies and hopefully complete them it would be deeply appreciated if you would send me a copy of all the notes, papers, books, drawings etc. that ware found there.
