    Your letter of April 18, 1948, has been receive and I want to express my appreciation to you for having written on as you did. The effects of Nikola Tesla were handled by the Office of Alien Property, and not by this Bureau. It is suggested you may extend to communicate with the Office of Alien Property, United States Department of Justice, 101 Indiana Avenue, Washington, D. C.

NOTE: This individual requests information relative to the work of Nikola Tesla relative to electrical experiments he was conducting, which Swain understands were taken by this Bureau and held for security reasons.
