Valveless and Bucketless Gasoline Turbine

The very latest invention in the gasoline engine field is the new Tesla "Valveless and Bucketless Gasoline Turbine," here illustrated. Two of the main features of this remark- able invention are that the usual carburetor or vaporizer is done away with and, secondly, no buckets are necessary on the turbine blades, the latter simply comprising a series of flat steel discs, placed a short distance apart. The successive explosions of the gaseous vapor are projected thru a nozzle on to the blades, thus causing the rotation of the blade members and the shaft to which they are connected. A dynamo is shown connected to the turbine at the right of the picture herewith.
